Home for Lost Boys Timeline
May 2009
Home For Lost Boys officially launch at animeBoston! Here's to the beginning of an epic project! From now all our time lines will be kept on the front page with our updates!
April 2009
A lot of logistics/paperwork taken care of. No new shoots while Lady Murasaki works hard to polish up the website for the public!
March 2009
All the shoots were edited and cropped, resized, and tagged with the Home For Lost Boys logo. Now to get them in the flash photo galleries!
February 2009
Lady Murasaki updated the site to have flash profiles! We promoted the site at
Wicked Faire in NJ and received an overwhelmingly positive response.
January 2009
We met our quota of having at least 24 shoots before going live. We have recruited 11 models total. We are now working on getting the final edits of the shoots. At this point any more shoots we have are icing on the cake!
December 2008
Purchased the strong box, opened the bank account, 2 shoots done, and still counting! We are gearing towards opening and have met the half-way point at the end of the month!
November 2008
We were able to get 5 photo shoots done, including 2 from a new photographer, Maura. We are going to decide which shoots will go up first! Two more models recruited and made contact with a few more at an anime con!
October 2008
Model photo shoots start, model recruiting progresses...5 photo shoots done. Model profiles up!
September 2008
The Home for Lost Boys team started work to build a foundation for the project. Company structure is set, and model recruiting is launched.
August 2008
Lady Murasaki starts the web site, gets partners, makes contacts, hires consultants, files paper work, etc. The Home for Lost Boys crew brainstorms ideas and discusses in what direction to take the site.
July 2008
Lady Murasaki looks around for pictures of pretty boys on the internet... nothing to be seen... nothing to be had...She jokes around that she should start a site herself. She talks to friends and acquaintances about it and decides that it's worth investing in the idea.
